About

Christine Bhasin
Christine Bhasin

I grew up in Shrewsbury, a wonderful medieval town. But now live in a small village called Berkswell near Coventry. I started writing when I turned 60. and was inspired after researching my family history.

My debut novel, Number 81, is now on Amazon. It is set in Shrewsbury and depicts life in the early 1900s and modern-day Shrewsbury.

I suffered a stroke in 2021, which weakened my left side. I didn't write for a year and thought I would never finish my novel. But with encouragement from family and friends, I have! There is life after a stroke! But it's hard typing with one hand. I have started my second novel, also set in Shrewsbury, and am hoping to finish this one faster.
